Welcoming Lowe’s as Instacart’s First Home Improvement Retailer 

Today, Instacart and Lowe’s announced a new partnership to offer same-day delivery of home improvement essentials in as fast as one hour. Customers can now access a wide selection of over 20,000 Lowe’s items, including tools, small home appliances, building supplies, light fixtures, home hardware, garden, outdoor essentials and more, delivered same-day. We’re currently piloting the new offering in two U.S. cities - Boston and Charlotte, NC - with plans to expand in the coming months. 

Lowe’s is the first dedicated home improvement partner available on the Instacart marketplace, solving for a unique consumer need. In 2021, we saw demand for home improvement essentials on Instacart grow by more than 50% when compared to 2020, signifying that consumers across the country continue to embrace the “do it yourself” mentality. Through our new partnership with Lowe’s, customers can now get everything they need to complete their home projects delivered.
