On Thursday, we celebrated Bring Your Kid to Work Day in partnership with our Parents@ community. It was an epic day of celebrations with 70+ kids participating across the company ranging in ages from 4 months to 12 years old.

Our Instacart parents joined their little carrots in decorating cookies, putting their crafting skills to the test with our apron station, posing with fruit and vegetable props at our photo booth, and an engineering challenge. The kids also spent the day job shadowing their parents and attending meetings.

At Instacart, we value building a community that is supportive of our working moms and dads. It was a fun day seeing our Instacart parents in action and their two worlds — work life and parent life — collide, and we look forward to hosting more events with our Parents@ community.
