Shop & Test with the Shopper Beta App

We’re always working to create the best possible shopper experience. Whether we’re building a brand new feature or improving upon the core functionality of the Shopper app, our goal is to deliver an engaging, reliable experience every time you open your app.

As part of this commitment, we want to partner with the shopper community to make sure it’s easy and seamless to use the Shopper app whenever you want to shop. That’s why today, we’re introducing the Shop & Test program, launching a beta version of our Shopper app that will allow shoppers an opportunity to provide feedback to help make sure the Shopper app runs smoothly for shoppers everywhere.

Introducing the Shop & Test Program

Starting today, we’re launching Shop & Test, a new program for select shoppers to use a beta version of the Shopper app to offer feedback and give details about any potential issues they may find while shopping. Shoppers in the program will be able to download the beta app, report bugs, and share feedback directly with the Instacart team.

Participating shoppers will have access to a group within Shop Talk to learn more about the program and discuss with their fellow shoppers and the Instacart team. As a thank you for their participation, these shoppers will receive up to $100 per quarter for being a part of the Shop & Test program.

How to Join

We’re currently piloting the Shop & Test program with select shoppers across North America who have volunteered to be part of this initial test group. We’ll be expanding the program to an additional group of select shoppers in the near future as we work to gather feedback from even more shoppers across the platform.

If you’re interested in joining the Shop & Test program in the future, you can indicate your interest by filling out this form. Space is limited, and we won’t be able to offer spots to every shopper, but we will add from the waiting list as availability opens up in the future.
