Announcing increased Cart Star rewards!

Shoppers are a vital component of our Instacart Community. Last June we announced our Cart Star program as part of our commitment to recognize the care and effort of top shoppers. Today, we’re excited to announce that we’re investing further into Cart Star rewards, including increasing the savings for shoppers on the most redeemed Cart Star reward: cash back on gas*. These increased rewards will be available starting Saturday, July 1 at the beginning of the new rewards period. The increases to the rewards for each tier can be viewed below:
- Get 25% off oil changes through CarAdvise
- Increased savings up to 30c/gallon on gas through Upside*
- Get 50% off oil changes through CarAdvise
- Increased savings up to 35c/gallon on gas through Upside*
- New! Pay only $1/hour for in-home care for children, seniors and pets for up to 4 days through Care.com ($1.27 CAD per hour in Canada)
- Recognition of your Cart Star status in the customer app
- Priority access to batches before stores open or when you’re close to the store
- Increased savings of 75% off oil changes through CarAdvise
- Increased savings up to 35c/gallon on gas through Upside*
- Pay only $1 hour for in-home care for children, seniors and pets for up to 4 days through Care.com ($1.27 CAD per hour in Canada)
- Recognition of your Cart Star status in the customer app
And introducing Platinum Protection
To recognize shoppers who have completed at least 4,000 orders, we’re introducing Platinum Protection. Platinum Protection ensures a shopper never drops below Platinum Cart status, maintaining access to Platinum Cart rewards for life**. We know that life can get busy with all you do, but now you don't have to worry about losing your Cart Star status and rewards.
To qualify, a shopper must have completed 4,000 lifetime orders and have taken at least one order in the last 3 month qualifying period, as well as maintain a 4.7 rating.
